Built for FAR Part 43 compliance

The logbook that locks, signs, and stays with your aircraft forever.

The problem

A single wet logbook is one hangar fire from worthless.

For 60,000 piston owners, the aircraft logbook is both a legal document and a single point of failure. It lives in a three-ring binder. It's handwritten. It's irreplaceable. And when it's lost or destroyed, so is most of the resale value of the aircraft.

01

No backup, no recovery

A paper logbook in a hangar is one flood, fire, or move away from gone. There's no digital ledger.

02

Compliance tracking is manual

Annuals, ADs, transponder checks, ELT batteries — owners juggle them on spreadsheets or in their head.

03

Illegible entries devalue aircraft

Buyers discount aircraft with incomplete or unreadable logs. Some drop value by 20% or more at resale.

04

Mechanics aren't set up for software

Existing tools ask IAs to create accounts and learn systems. They refuse. So owners give up.

What Yolog does

A legally defensible digital logbook that mechanics will actually use.

01 / COMPLIANCE

Every due date, tracked.

Annuals, 100-hours, ADs, pitot-static, transponder, ELT. Yolog knows what's required for your aircraft and warns you before anything expires.

02 / WORKFLOW

One link, no login.

Your mechanic gets a single-use secure link. They draft the entry on any device, sign with their cert number, and close the loop. No account required.

03 / INTEGRITY

Entries lock permanently.

Once signed, an entry cannot be edited or deleted. Corrections happen through new referenced entries — the same way the FAA expects it on paper.

04 / PORTABILITY

Your records, always yours.

Export the full logbook as a timestamped PDF at any time. Sell the aircraft, switch tools, or just keep a backup — the data is yours to take.

How it works

Three steps. No friction for your mechanic.

i.

You request an entry

From the app, tap "Request entry" and choose what kind — annual, AD compliance, 100-hour, or freeform. Yolog generates a secure one-time link.

ii.

Your mechanic signs

You send the link any way you like — text, email, AirDrop. They open it, fill in the work performed, add their certificate number, and sign.

iii.

The entry locks

The signed entry is cryptographically timestamped and appended to your logbook. It cannot be changed. It can be exported. It is yours forever.

What a signed entry looks like

"A digital entry has to carry the same weight as one I'd write by hand in the back of the book. That's the bar."

Your logbook deserves better than a three-ring binder.

Early access opens summer 2026. Owners and mechanics are helping shape what ships.
